Scoring Points

  • Only the helmsperson will be awarded points unless the race is specified as a two-person race (based on weather conditions, number of competitors, etc.), as decided by the Race Referee.
  • A minimum of 4 racing boats are needed in order to score points for that race.
  • The scoring system will be cumulative for the entire season and based on points awarded for each individual race as follows:

REMAINING FINISHERS 1 point
DISQUALIFICATION (DQ) 0 point
DID NOT FINISH (DNF) 0 point
